You’ve probably already tried conquering your fears through different methods, usually involving will, auto-suggestion, denial, or psychotherapy. And you’ve probably discovered that while these methods may have some temporary effect, they generally fail to address the underlying problem—the hidden subconscious driving force that’s been governing your reactions.
But there is a better way. Based on the Body-Psyche Guide to Inner Wisdom, the guided meditation I’ve developed for dissolving fears works with your body-felt reactions to guide you to the core of the fear. It then takes you one step further to the underlying driver of the fear, the wound that fuels it. Once you’ve discovered this original driver, you can reconnect with that wound lodged in your body, and supply it with whatever was missing. Once you’ve done that, your fear automatically dissolves.

The Guided Meditation for Dissolving Fears—An Overview
Here is what you can expect during the guided meditation. You don’t need any meditation experience or special skills. Just relax and let my voice guide you.
- Allow your Body-Psyche to speak
Instead of running from the fear or trying to “conquer” it, you will reconnect with the buried troubling experience, allowing it to speak to you. As you imagine yourself in the specific fear-inducing situation, you’ll notice your bodily reactions, including heart rate, breathing and muscle reactions. But rather than “conquering” or judging them, you’ll just be with them, going with the flow of wherever they lead you.
- Find the core of the fear
Next you’ll allow your body to show you which fear reactions are more central—or core—to your particular issue. “Core” can mean more pronounced, or it could mean more centered in one specific area of your body.
- Go deeper to find the source wound
Another thing you may notice is that the spot or spots that are more central in your awareness have different functions. The first core spot you notice will most likely be the center of the fear, but there will be another—the deeper one—that is the source of the fear. That source is what fuels the fear.
Again, you don’t need any special skills or experience. Just sit in a comfortable position and let my voice guide you through the process.
The Guided Meditation for Dissolving Fears is an excellent way to begin the process of unraveling the network of fear responses that often grow up around the core spot and source wound. If you find you want more help, feel free to explore other meditations, ask for guidance, or schedule a personal consultation. NOTE: The Guided Meditation for Dissolving Fears takes you to the source of the wound that fuels your fear, but it spends a relatively short time releasing and transforming that wound. Depending on what you experience, you may need more time afterwards to process what you’ve learned. You can also use one of the other guided meditations on the site to go deeper into transforming the feeder wound, assuming you have a sense of what it is. But if you want more transformation yet still don’t know what the wound is, you’re welcome to ask for guidance with your next step or to schedule a consultation.
