As I covered in my article The Force Field of Failure, subconscious wounds generate the hidden fuel that drives our avoidance behaviors.
This twelve-minute guided meditation will help you find the wound that fuels your own force field of failure.
Once you have found the power supply, you can disarm it by healing the underlying wound.
After Using the Guided Meditation
I strongly recommend that you capture what you felt and experienced during the meditation. The memories will be vivid at first and, like dreams, will fade quickly. Where on your body did the emotions arise? What did the emotion feel like inside your body? Did you have any feelings or thoughts that surprised you?
I invite you to post a comment below describing what you discovered. I would love to hear about your experience.
Once you’ve found your underlying wound, you’ll want to take the next step to transform that wound into a positive motivation. If you discover that your underlying wound is shame, use the guided meditation to transform shame into self-acceptance. If you discover that fear is inhibiting you, use the guided meditation to transform fear into self-confidence.
Shame and fear are the two most common inhibitions that fuel these force fields of failure. However, you might discover that your particular fuel is different.
If you uncover a wound that you cannot name, or is not already covered by one of the guided meditations on this site, I invite you to use the contact form to send me a message requesting a private consult. We can have a conversation via Skype to identify what your wound is and I’ll guide you through a live, custom meditation to help you transform that wound into its positive motivation.
